Hope your week has gone alright.

There’s no change to deliveries for either May bank holiday but if you do not require a box for any week this spring/summer please let me know ASAP. Holidays can be booked via the account section on your website and can be booked up to 12 months in advance. Thank you!

The only change this week is there are no herbs due to the bank holiday. 

Butter is back in stock along with two lovely organic cheeses - Tremains and Brighton Blue both from High Weald Dairy.

There are two coffee restocks as well with more decaf coffee and a new(ish) spring blend coffee. 

Last week some of you might have met Jonny, the new Tuesday delivery driver. He was actually covering for Ed on Thursday but as of next week he’ll be delivering on Tuesdays and packing on Wednesdays. If you notice anything different from your deliveries (e.g leaving the box somewhere you don’t want it, something missing etc) then just drop me an email and I’ll feed it back to him. 

Most swaps will be limited next week as I’ve had a few new customers after placing my wholesale order who have hoovered up much of the planned reserve. Hello if you're new here!

On the UK front next week things are looking fairly similar as we amble into the hunger gap. Expect potatoes, celeriac, swede and two types of mushrooms again. Although my wholesaler keeps swapping portobello mushrooms for chestnuts last minute without my consent, so apologies if this is catching anyone out, hopefully they’ll be able to get some portobellos next week. 

There are a couple of new UK additions next week to look out for, some white cabbage and bunched leeks. 

From Europe there are some nice new additions including red peppers, yellow peppers, padron peppers, cucumbers and mini snack cucumbers.

You’ll also find punnets of tomatoes and french beans in most boxes! 

However, the most exciting new additions next week definitely comes in the form of fruit as we see the first shift in seasons as Europe moves away from citrus and towards stoned fruits. Next week we have apricots and nectarines available as well as galia melons.
