Next week it's British across the board with 32 UK veg lines and 1 European veg line (onions).
Hopefully the experiment has gone well with Living Potential and we can find a way to work with them in the future. However as I am in Scotland at a wedding, this next week, is highly dependent on our wholesaler as I do the majority of faffing with the local farms.
Some of the highlights next week will include purple french beans, loads of broad beans and peas all from Lancashire. More locally, bunched rainbow beetroot from Tadcaster along with cavolo nero and kale both from North Yorkshire.
Tomatoes from the one and only The Tomato Stall are back and can be found here.
There's also a special shout out to a Leeds Veg Box first of crookneck squash?! It looks fun, so I purchased it! It's a lovely summer squash apparently!
From Passion4Plants we've got two types of garlic, 2 types of cucumbers and some strawberry plants!
Fruit next week includes more UK grown discovery apples and victoria plums, there are also the first mangoes from Spain, the fan favourite of kiwiberries from the Netherlands and two types of pears, guyot and erconlini.
Have a fantastic weekend
Thanks
Sam
