Hello

A small new feature for the website this week is a Yorkshire flag! You'll see this next to items in the next box from farms I work with in North Yorkshire and Doncaster (Newfields Organics and Pollybell Organics). These are both larger farms who's produce comes via our wholesaler. Things grown in Leeds will still have the little black 'locally grown' icon.

There's UK veg across the board for the next boxes and they are looking great with some lovely seasonal treats! The autumnal veg is just starting to come through whilst we've still got some summery things floating around which makes for a good variety. I also did hear on the grapevine that Spanish citrus isn't too far away!

There's some great cherry tomatoes on the vine from Isle of Wight, some fantastic corn on the cob from Lincolnshire and top quality french beans from Suffolk.

Passion4Plants have added jalapenos and one lonely portion of padron peppers both up as swaps or add ons.

Leeds Bread Co-ops new special for sourdough September is a tasty Olive Sourdough.
