Hello,
The last boxes of the year.
There's been an issue with out of stock swaps definitely last week, perhaps longer. That appears to be fixed now.
If something is out of stock you should get a notification to tell you so. I haven't been ignoring your swaps, the website just hasn't been telling you something is unavailable and therefore not saving your swaps.
As I am closed for a couple of weeks after this, there won't be a lot of swaps available.
All bread and all items with '22nd delivery' are all now pre ordered and cannot be changed.
If you are a fortnightly customer and would like to change your first delivery back date after Christmas see right at the bottom.
This week is normally the hardest boxes of the year to plan. The brief is to try make them different from Christmas boxes but also try to fit in as much seasonal produce as possible.
I think I have done a pretty good job this year.
After the overwhelmingly positive response to sprouts last week, all boxes will have a full blown sprout stalk in them (last week were baby). This is different to what will be in Christmas boxes as they will be loose and weighted.
This round of boxes have sweet potatoes in rather than regular potatoes and there's a bit more European produce in boxes than you might normally expect.
Ed (the new Thursday delivery guy) is 1/3 of Yorkshire Mushroom Emporium and has made some grey oyster mushrooms available as swaps and extras next week. YME specialize in ‘low-tech’ cultivation methods that focus on local supply chains, resource efficiency and zero waste production.
These grey oyster mushrooms will be 200g bags/punnets. This week is a bit of a trial run to see how it would work with them on the new website (some of you will remember we did a bit of experiment a year or so ago when they were first starting out). They hope to be able to supply us with oyster, lions manes and a few other exoctic mushrooms next year.

Your best bet for swaps this week will be
There's no Passion4Plants this week as they are officially on their Christmas Jollys.
Have a fantastic Christmas and New Year.
See you Tuesday, Thursday or Friday if you're getting Christmas stuff.
Thanks
Sam
