Hope you’ve had a good week.

Next week is looking good with some nice new UK additions and some lovely fruit coming your way.

New UK items will include spring onions, french green beans, fennel, kale, summer greens and twin pack little gem lettuces. 

I’m trying a different farm for broccoli next week. We’ve struggled a little bit with the quality of these so far this year after we’ve switched from Spain to British, with the warmer weeks not helping. But having spoken to other local veg box businesses these guys seem to be the best broccoli's right now, they’ll be coming from New Farm in Lincolnshire. 

Elsewhere from the UK there are loads of great mini plum tomatoes from The Tomato Stall, more broad beans and chestnut mushrooms.

Our European supply needs are dwindling with only sweet potato, aubergine, courgette, cucumbers, peppers and small butternut squash coming from across the channel. Along with some lovely flat parsley from Portugal. 

For fruit next week we’ve got more grapes and cherries. Juliet apples from France, the first Spanish pears of the season (ercolini) and more black splendour plums.
