Hello

Loads to get through this week…

First up, to celebrate the launch of all the new products and that the website finally has discount codes (woohoo), there is 15% off ALL extra items/add ons until the end of the month! Just add the code once and it’ll stay on for the next three weeks. The code is extras and is to be added at the bottom of your basket.

Next, I am currently hiring. Barat has finished college and is looking for full time work so there is an interesting hybrid driving/packing job available for two days a week. If you know anyone, let them know. The description can be found here.

I’ve added heaps more products this week.

The first three products are fresh herbs - coriander, mint and parsley. All of these are coming in home compostable bags and all are available as one off, weekly or fortnightly. This is a bit of a test as I’ve always been a bit hesitant to add herbs as they’ve basically got to sell every week or they go to waste. So if you are interested in these please do consider adding them as a weekly or fortnightly option.

There are too many new store cupboard items to list this week. I found a wholesaler who specialises in small British independent food producers/brands who are providing us with all these fantastic products. They range from peanut butter, to authentic Tunisian harissa, to stir in sauces, tea and the world's best rice.

There is the now famous peanut rāyu from White Masus.

Some fine loose leaf tea from Good & Proper. I know these folk from my days working at music festivals and I can assure you, it is good and it is proper!

Really great red hot sambal tumis from Rampapa.

And pure organic Cambodian long grain jasmine rice - winner of the best rice in the world 5 years running. Not only do these guys sell the best rice in the world, they are in fact a conservation project set up by the Wildlife Conservation Society. Read more about it here.

The majority of the most recently added products can be found here. But EVERYTHING within the food cupboard and coffee & tea tabs have 15% off for the rest of the month. And don’t forget butter too.

Veg News
Next week Ed has sorted everybody out with his mushrooms, nearly 23 kg worth of Leeds grown oyster mushrooms across all boxes.

There are the aforementioned herbs added this week too.
Broccoli, cherry tomatoes and avos are available in good numbers outside of boxes.
The British highlight next week without a doubt is rhubarb from Bedlam Farms. You’ll find this in a couple of boxes but mostly it’ll be available as swaps or to add to your order. It’s great to see some new items popping up from the UK already. There are also some new little bunches of leeks from North Yorkshire which look great.

For fruit next week there are a couple of punnets of blueberries available, along with Spanish elliot pears in the majority of boxes and some new cripps pink apples from France popping up in small boxes.

Have a great weekend
Thanks
Sam
